I watch it because it's football and I've been a man who has enjoyed football since I knew it existed.

I don't get butthurt when people who play football have different opinions than me.

And I'm glad watching the NFL makes other people mad.

It's weak-mindedness to boycott it because a few players kneeled down to make a demonstration, and it's even more weak-minded to want to know where people "stand as an American" as if watching the NFL is a litmus test for that.

If you don't want to watch it, don't. You don't need some weird validation from others, and you certainly aren't more of an American for boycotting it. In fact, that's strikingly un-American.

I don't watch it. I can only completely devote one entire weekend day to football and that is on Saturday.
