Ill trade you. Little brats behind me were screaming and calling our players idiots. My nine year old son remarked on them being poor fans!

One of the things I really like about Clemson is our fans. Traditionally, we for the most part have been respectful of others. Lately? Not so much. Our fans are slowly beginning to be as classless as the Coots have traditionally been.

Games are about having a good time with family and friends. I really dont need to go somewhere I cant bring my family. There is a difference between child rearing in a bubble and exposing them to things at an age where they can understand them and not just repeat what they hear without understanding it. Clemson football has been a family event for many years. Small children have always gone to the games.

The guy in front of me was using terrible language. After diplomacy failed I got into a scrap with him. Fans came over to assist from all around me cause the guy was huge. Apparently he had been getting on all of their nerves too. Big cheer when he was escorted out. If you're sitting near A CHILD, stop and consider that the kids parents are trying to raise him/her properly, which may be different from how YOU WERE RAISED. Not blaming here, just a general notification.

A child can watch nickelodeon, Disney, or just listen to the radio and hear just as bad! It's a football game if you don't want your kids hearing a few bad words then don't bring em, it's America let people practice their freedom of speech as long as they're not dropping f bombs and such, like those idiots from Columbia did last year when we played there!

Using the F word MF'er and GD are about the only true curse words. But if someone is just yelling/cheering loudly it should be tolerated.

your children to that at home then it is your choice and I doubt it will be the worst thing they face if you are their parent making that type of decisions.

If we don't bring the kids to the games, where will the next generation of tiger fans come from? One of my best memories of tiger fans is from a game in willie brice.took my daughter (5 or 6 at the time). Some CU students were behing us and getting foul mouthed. One noticed my daughter and toned them down. He spent the rest o the game teaching her clemson cheers. Thats a real CU fan. At 13, my daughter delights in wearing her orange to school here in columbia and i give that kid some of the credit.

Other than the #####, you NEVER hear other teams' fans talking about being treated badly in DV. That's something we should all be proud of, not something to push out the door to be like the rest of these inbreds we play.
I really wish we could bring back The Country Gentleman.

Tell them to stay home. It's a freakin football game. If they don't like noise they shouldn't be there. There are thousands of folks who pay for tickets, tailgating, etc to support our team. Can't stand noise, why in the he!! Would you bring them to a football game.

it's a two way street. anyone that brings children into an atmosphere like that, should expect they may hear a few poor choice of words here and there. Obviously not constant tirade of profanity. At the same time, one should choose your words wisely when seated near children, even when you know they have heard worse. I am sure my preacher has heard the "F" word, but I am not going to use it round him.

I took my 4 year old daughter to the game Saturday and was pleased. I heard one "GD" that seem to slip past her ears and a "you suck", which she repeated. I promptly corrected her and she never said it again. It's just good manners to watch your vocabulary around youngsters, football game or not. On the other hand, it is the parent's responsibility to correct the child.
I certainly cuss like a sailor at times but never around children. There is nothing worse that a pottymouth child.
