The evening before the 2k gain. We did take cash from taxable account sales in past week (tax losses for next year)
and bought back into dividend stock etfs.

So answer is yes...

Panic or move during downturn. I am not talented enough to even think about “timing” the market.

Got lucky & fortunate with cashing out stock options & RSUs end of January due to retirement. Was thinking of market reinvestment but holding as cash .... intuition (not insight) led me to be slow to act at what appeared to be a peak.
