So ESPN basically is calling Georgia "Choke City" now...

...because of the Braves collapse in the first inning. They listed the following "Notable Georgia Sports Heartbraking Losses" to illustrate it"
- Super Bowl LI - Falcons squander 28-3 lead vs Patriots, lose 34-28 in OT
- 2018 CFP Title Game - Georgia squanders 13-0 halftime lead vs Alabama, loses 26-23 in OT
- 2012 NFC Championship Game - Falcons squander 17-0 lead vs 49ers, lose 28-24 (this one has to really hurt - they lost to Colin Kaepernick!)
- 1996 World Series - Braves squander 2-0 series lead vs Yankees & 6-0 lead in Game 4 to lose in 6 games.
Any Dawg fans wanna push back on this? "Choke City", LOL...

As a Braves fan, but not a Dawg or Falcons fan, the only one on that list that really hurt was 1996. Blowing a 2 games to none lead over the hated Yankees, and losing four straight on top of that, really hurt. Still does.

Yeah, and if y'all remember, the Yanks shouldn't have been in that series. The series before is when that kid reached over the wall and hit the ball and they ruled it a HR.
