Generational GAP!

Mar 3, 2020, 6:50 PM

I think it's pretty well known that this grand Lunge is infested with old people (people over 31, which is how old I am at this time). I love being regaled with old renditions of the Dead and of even more recent dedication to the early 90s post grunge and or MTV pop era. I appreciate it, I really do.

But what about us young folks who were in middle school when 9/11 happened? Does no one appreciate the angst that a teen born from 1986-1990 has to go through? When we were kids, America was the greatest place on earth. And now we got folks trying to talk sideways and are fighting tooth and nail to keep the Coronavirus from effing us up like AIDS did.

Anyway, here is the culture of the TRUE millennial generation. I'm here to bless you guys with R&B in it's early 2000s golden age:

You might be laughing. But play this at 11pm tonight after your old lady's had a couple of glasses of wine and she'll squirt all over your junk. Trust me on this.

Afro to come back since I'm a white dude who could actually grow one. Sadly as I plow through my 40s I have noticed my Grey hair is thin. I am no longer able to grow one. Oh well.

and I did listen through all of them. Honest opinion......it's not bad. Just mellowwwwww. Too slow for me personally. Sunday morning stuff. I'd fall asleep and wreck if this was on my car stereo while I was driving.

I was just raised on the hard, ear-busting stuff. Not old enough to mellow out yet, apparently. I thought I would eventually, but looks like that moment it ain't in me. Can't take a step back in decibel level. I'll die a headbanger it appears.

This kinda reminded me of Al Wilson, one of the great R&B men, with modern electronic percussion. Motown, Lou Rawls, Al Green. Celtic will like if nobody else does <img border=">">
