thing you have seen during the shut in. I'll start...
1. Mrs. Spud and I were watching some show, and they had a food special...The chef said, one thing you could put on pasta, NOW THAT MEAT IS HARD TO COME BY, is some sauce flavored with PEEEEENUT BUTTER. Jeese! It looked like the nastiest stuff you could ever force Ole Spud to eat....

There is a small Chinese restaurant in Cleveland, NC ( between Salisbury and Statesville ) and it has delicious fried strips of chicken soaked in a delicious peanut butter sauce .
I’ve asked how they make it , and I’m met with blank stares .

Tie: All the commercials from companies telling me how they are there for me in these tough times/ TV personalities (mostly unknown to me) telling me how “to do my part”. Irritating beyond measure.
On the bright side I have read every unread book I own and reread more than a few.

politcal spectrum, and I may be misguided;but, I definitely agree with you on this one. Luckily, myself, and many on here have not really been affected, but there have to be many, very many,that when that first week passed by without a check were under much duress. Like yourself, I get sick of seeing financially independent people saying,"We are all in this together". Really, what are you risking? Are you driving a truck and eating food that others prepared? Are you working toe to toe with other hog slaughterers, chicken processors, butchers? Are you stocking grocery store shelves with your precious toilet paper, or did you have all of that stuff delivered to your home which is a thousand feet or more from you closest neighbor....Now, if they want to put a mother of 3, whose husband is in Iraq or Afghaninstan, or a medical worker whose 12 and 14 year olds are at home doing their homework online,or a farmer fixing his own tractor.....well, if they want to put them on a commercial saying,"We are all in this together", then you have my full undivided attention.
