I've heard there was some talk of putting a concrete median down the center of 123 where McDonald's is.

Like most roads,streets and highways it is very safe , right up to the point some Darwin Award candidate announces he is in the running for the top spot. While folks say SC is bad,it is nothing close to the stupidity one finds in Tn. on the roads. Outsdie of the Middle East Tn. drivers are the worst. Many people think they can multitask, sadly they are not even capapble of doing one thing at a time. All it really means is they are doing several things badly at any given moment, some likely to maim or kill other drivers.

Not bad in the summer.....when students get here it's called suicide alley by local law enforcement.
You throw 3 or 4 thousand students late to class in the mix and it's nutty.

the Chick-fil-a traffic causes most of the problems there

not blaming CFA, it's a fine establishment.

I'm blaming its patrons, who have no problem shutting down a lane of traffic out in the highway getting in the drive-thru line or turning left exiting when they should be turning right-only. The city should be ridiculed mercilessly for approving that parking lot setup. You are forced to drive around the building twice if you go through the drive-thru.
