How in the word are boats so expensive? And the motors?

Just browsing around...32' Pursuit with twin 300's...250k

Unreal. I truly don't understand why boat motors are so expensive. They are more expensive than new car or truck motors. And the hull literally is fiberglass with stainless or brass fittings. I know there is a lot more than that but come on.

We had boats in the Coast Guard decked out with equipment, radar, gps, motors, etc that we nowhere near that expensive.

You can finance a boat for what- 20, 30,40 years? Cap the financing terms to 10 years or less and boat prices fall dramatically
