I don't know about all this "vanilla"

talk. I think we might start out basic for the first quarter, and then depending on how that goes, they'll probably open it up. With that being said, I hope they come out and pound the rock with Brooks and Hot Rod the entire game. Let's put 300 rushing yards on these boys.

"Because at the end of the game, everyone knew that they weren’t that much better than us or better than us at all."

Going "vanilla" is intended to get the offense in a rhythm.

Once that happens, Morris will open it up.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Hot Rod does not know the meaning of "pound the rock"

7 games into the season and we figure out the offense is too complicated?

Have T Mix It ----

Oct 25, 2013, 9:32 AM

It won't be vanilla but their will and should be
a smoothe swirl to start things off. Then as the
game goes on speed up the churn machine then add
Red Bull. By the start of the 3rd Qtr. if needed
Clemson should add a few drops of NOS to really
put things out of reach. Then enjoy win.

Note:
Next game, repeat recipe until until you can
maintain its full effects for
best results.

Here's the way I am choosing to look at Morris's comments. In a perfect world, you would assume that the UGA game was as vanilla as our O would be all season because it was the first game. If that performance is considered vanilla, then I'll take a gallon please. What did we do that was so successful in that game? HINT: McDowell had over 100 yards. I could be wrong, but I think the Chad may finally make a more serious effort towards running the #### ball frequently in situations that matter, and not just accumulating carries during garbage time after the game is decided, just for the sake of selling the stat sheet backed illusion of offensive balance.

I gather from Morris' remarks that we will simply

cut down on the "reads". It was obvious last week that our QB and WR's were on different pages much of the night. I attribute that mostly to fsu mixing up/disguising their coverages very well.

Sounds like there will be more specific routes called and not as many reads based on coverage. With that said, it will affect (maybe not hurt) our offense...it will all depend on the plays being called. With less flexibility we will depend on the coaches more and the players ability to read defenses less.

At least that's what I got out of their comments.
