Holding OU to 17 or blanking MSU

Jan 2, 2016, 12:03 AM

Which is more impressive? The fact that OU averaged 46 points a game and MSU has struggled scoring all year should be taken into consideration. Unfortunately as usual the media is blowing Bama up like they shut down a high powered offense.

I'd say Clemson, because MSU hasn't exactly been burning out lights on scoreboards vs. Ohio St and Iowa

I thought Clemson might win 45-34, thought OU would get some points. The D-line was flat out AWESOME

I did not think MSU would be able to score on Bama, but I thought MSU would stop them as well.

Both equally as impressive IMO. 2 great teams about to go at it.

Connor Cook was obviously injured

Jan 2, 2016, 12:13 AM

I write for a Big 10 site on occasion, so I watch a good bit of Big 10 football including MSU. It was obvious Cook had diminished arm strength on the first drive. I knew it was all over at that point. MSU had to have Cook at 100% because they don't have much other than him on offense. He was a shell of the QB I watched this year, and it was all physical.
