Here's what I think the rankings will be.....

If Michigan wins....
1) Alabama 2) Michigan 3) Ohio St. 4) Clemson 5) Louisville 6) Washington 7) Wisconsin (I could see them ahead of Washington...committee loves Big10 apparently)
If MIchigan loses....
1) Alabama 2) Ohio St. 3) Clemson 4) Louisville 5) Michigan 6) Washington 7) Wisconsin
I suppose Louisville might be ahead of us this week. But I would take our resume as a 1 loss team ahead of the other 1 loss teams.
Might need to keep an eye on West Virginia. They are the only other 1 loss team (aside from non-power 5 schools) that is hanging back a bit. They have a game coming up with Oklahoma who might be top 10 this week. If they win, they will leap into the discussion after next week.

Exactly what I've said... Everybody says the head to head means they shouldn't be above us but heck, they beat every team by reasonable margins. I think they'll be ahead until the 13th game.

They definitely consider championship games

if UL leads us in the coming week (or two), I don't see a team that doesn't have to play anyone more than Clemson & FSU taking a spot from a team that plays arguably every team in the conference with a pulse (aside from UNC).
I think it will work itself out based on how the other teams are dropping tonight.
I also think UM goes down to OSU (more talent and better big-game coach). So, I wasn't worried about UM hanging around for too long.
That said, we have to get our ducks together for the next 2-3 games. Good O execution and <14 pts per game on D.

Really? I think Louisville might be ahead of us. I could see us at 5,6,7. Win out and we might sneak back in but that loss today to a crap team at home will drop us out of the 4 I think.

Put a team that LOST to us by 8 points ahead of us?

That means winning doesn't matter.

Wisconsin will not jump us....

They have 2 losses. And their wins aren't as good as ours. We could drop to 5 if Louisville is above us in certain scenarios. We'll be ahead of Washington.

So, if Washington wins out at this point and so does West Virginia which one gets the 4 spot at season's end? Assuming Bama, OSU and we win out as well.
Both Washington and WVU would have to be above of U of L in this scenario, imo.

We run table & we get back there but not in next ranking.

We just lost to a 4 loss unranked team at home. IMO, we don't see the top 4 until the Sunday after we win ACC.

The team we lost to is a handful of points away from being a one loss team, and they beat a top 10 penn state on the road.
No way Louisville jumps us unless we lose again. That's asinine.
