Here's an example of the stupid that will be pulling into my

driveway sometime this afternoon. I mean....probably, unless more stupid happens, which I'm fine with.
As of Wednesday night, the inlaws (and twin sister and shithead kids) had meandered their way to Pensacola, FL. That's striking distance to Charleston, for normal people not hindered by horrible cognitive abilities. They discover that gas was cheaper in Alabama than it is in Florida, and who wants to pay extra for gas, seriously? BETTER DRIVE BACK TO ALABAMA.
Let's do some back of the envelope math, and we'll be generous with the figures here:
Let's say the RV has a 50 gallon tank (it doesn't) Let's say gas is $.30/gallon cheaper in Alabama than Florida (seriously doubt it)
All other things equal...you save $15 on the tank of gas.
What's that you say? All other things AREN'T actually equal? We have to DRIVE to Mobile, AL? OK, so 40 miles back to Mobile (it was more, but we're being nice) at 8 miles/gallon mileage = 5 gallons of gas to get there, at a cost of, let's say, $2.50/gallon. So it cost $12.50 to get to a gas station where they could save $15 on a tank of gas, and it only involved backtracking and wasting around 3 hours of travel time.
And you know what? I'm fine with it. They're not getting here until this afternoon, instead of yesterday. And I get to disappear tomorrow when I pick up a fella at the airport around lunchtime, and we attempt to not totally ruin the CBWS BBQ on Sunday by wrecking ourselves tomorrow afternoon/night. RH, could use you and your better half's maturity and responsibility in helping us stay on the tracks tomorrow. aero, I'd ask the same of you, but you're likely relying on RH and MrsRH for the same.
#### it, let's get drunk.

Why do you put yourself through this? I've permanently squashed lake invites for far less.
At any rate, this is a prime example of why you never let people get too comfortable staying with you or using your stuff.

It was one of her family members too. She tried to pull a fast one and bring some uninvited friends with them(that neither of us knew). I said not no, but hell no.....and there goes their invite for the rest of 2015, and probably 2016 as well. I may have mellowed some by 2017, so we'll see then.
