Here is a Bama story for you.

I live and work in NC, and while I am largely surrounded by people that prefer Bball, there are some people I work with that are great & knowledgeable football fans, and of course a few coot fans sprinkled in for comic relief.

One guy is a Bama grad and obviously a huge fan, but he takes it in stride because he knows the wave that Bama is riding will end at some point so he enjoys the winning while he can. While disappointed that they lost to us in the Championship game, he was the first to congrat me with a text and said "we gave the world a great game tonight"! After they beat us last year he said "your lack of a passing game made it too easy on Nick. Bet you money Dabo finds a way to fix that before next year's playoffs"!

The Bama fan and I were discussing a few topics including Mack Brown's hire at UNC, Tua, Trevor, etc. when a coot fan chimed in and asked how I enjoyed the game Saturday night.

I did not even get a chance to respond before the Bama fan said "No one is talking to you gamecock. We are discussing Big Boy football over here. Worry about Akron and make your reservations for Shreveport!"

Funny stuff!!
