Head to head competition is no longer a way to compare

Conferences according to Mike and Mike. They are trying to say bowl games doesn't matter since nobody really wants to play in them. What the he// is wrong with these people?

That was the excuse from LSU and the Coots...

after we thumped LSU in the Peach Bowl a few years ago.

It sounds just as weak, sad, and pathetic coming from these clowns.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Do they work for ESPiN?

Jan 2, 2017, 10:39 AM

Their problem is that ESPiN has less and less control over the post season matchups. That gives us better games instead of the horrible mismatches that had outcomes favorable to the SEC. Those SEC victories in the past sent the SEC racing into the top 25 in the following preseason polls. Those preseason polls filled with, up to 12, SEC teams. That coupled with the SEC's traditional four OOC cupcake games per program allowed ESPiN to move SEC teams up and down in the polls all year, claiming top wins against 'top 25,' teams after every SEC matchup. Bad win and good loss became common terms.

That bolstered each SEC team's SOS which allowed them to be pushing into the higher paying postseason games which in turn kept ESPiN's money and hype rolling. I think they called it the BCS system.

Now don't make me say that again. Turn ESPiN off and watch the games without sound or listen to the radio instead of lapping up the puke coming from mouths fed for decades at ESPiN's teat.
