Am I the only one who would have loved to see

What Kelly Bryant could have done with the type of talent we had last year. Unfortunately our receiving core seems no where near the level of those guys last year. Bryant throws the ball a lot better than most ever have him credit for coming into the season but our other guys just don't make the plays we're used to seeing from our receivers. Mainly Cane, who no doubt is an elite athlete, but can't seem to catch a ball unless he's wide open. I know he's the experienced vet, but I personally am ready to see what Higgins can do.

I agree, especially with your thought on Cain. Not sure why he's had so many drops this year, his eyes and hands don't seem to be on the same page on the deep throws though.

He just don't seem able to make the tough catches

Doesn't go up and get the ball. If it doesn't hit him perfect he ain't catching it. This is big time formal and there are gonna be big time defenders covering him. Very rarely will he see a perfect throw right to him with nobody on him. Unfortunately those seem to be the only ones he catches

He has caught some difficult ones, just look at the Louisville game last year.

The drop bug has caught on with him this year though.

Mike Williams dropped a lot of passes earlier in the season last year as well as Artavjs Scott. They turned it on after the bye week. Maybe Deon can as well

We still have a load of talent but M Williams and company had lots of games played .
We are going to need Cain to step up and I believe he will.
He hasn't had a big game yet but it's going to happen.
