Hard to believe that Bubba...

Watson prior to his Win at The Genesis Open earlier this year was contemplating retirement at one time and especially after winning Masters in 2012 and 2014 but man is he playing some good Golf going into this years Masters after winning the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play today

Bubba is ultra-talented and mentally he has come a long way. BUT, he is still a bit of a Head Case.

I think his wife told him to get his butt back out there and play golf. I used to not like the guy, but now I enjoy watching him play. I usually go up to the Wells Fargo for a couple of days, and I hope he's in the field.

I can understand that part, but I can't understand how he can curve the ball so much with a ball that doesn't spin nearly as much as the old balata balls. Nobody else can do it.

Both of the videos explain the power source, and the second helps explain how he moves it right to left. But, he can move it by huge margins both ways, like that gap wedge at the Masters. I don't believe anyone else could have done that, even with a balata ball.

The longer you are the faster you can accelerate the end of the club. More acceleration, more force at the point of contact.
