My wife was washing her hands so often, they started to bleed. I just wash my hands until they are clean, and will continue that practice.

Even before COVID-19, I washed my hands more often than 95% of people. I have a very strong sense of being sanitary. Eczema also flairs up sometimes, usually in cold weather.

There are some soaps (liquid and solid) that moisturize and won't punish skin with repeated use. There are also lotions that can help her.

I recommend Vaseline Advanced Repair, unscented. It's a game-changer. This is a lotion, not their petroleum jelly.

My go-to is the Alma Mater, followed by C-L-E-M in cadence count (just for good measure).
