As I mentioned in the GMHWYW thread, I ran the chains at the Aiken High football game on Saturday. They played Greenwood, led by former North Augusta coach Dan Pippin. Greenwood curb stomped Aiken, which is not surprising because Aiken could not beat Sister Mary's School for the Blind right now, but I digress. That guy evidently is a pretty good football coach, but may also be a total psychopath. Man, talk about wound tight.

Great guy. Great coach. Complete ######### (it comes with the job).
Also people in Greenwood want him gone. They even have a website about it.

thought of losing. If you're not winning over 80% of your games every year, they're calling for your head over there. They DGAF if talent is down that year.
This is also the spot where Pinky Babb had his legendary tenure. As well as Shell Dula. It's where coaches go before they go to the SCFB HOF

parents are the scourge of sports.
If johnny is playing quarterback, then billy and joe's moms both have facebook pages to get the coach fired.
"he's not playing my baby."
"why is he running the spread? My baby only gets to carry the ball 8 times, we should run the wishbone. My baby would get 30 carries then."

I wouldnt be a High school facebook coach for what Dabo Makes.
I considered coaching D team this year...I am glad I stuck with 12U

the real key to the job is does the admin have your back?
If the admin is flakey and does whatever the majority of the parents want or literally tells you that they are going to throw you under the bus soon, RUN.
If the admin backs you up and what you are trying to accomplish then that's a good job.
Of course you only have 3 years before you better be winning.

Greenr admittedly did not want my kids to play for (but that is YEARS from now) and now we suck again.

he will be winning there in no time.
There's some personal things I know about him I won't post here, but I wouldn't have any issues with my son playing for him.
