yesterday evening my son (4) wanted to play "tackle" in the

front yard. I said "ok" and slowly got on my knees praying I'll be able to get my 47 year old body back up. My son backed up about 15 feet, put one hand on the ground holding the small football in the other. Here is where I become proud. He says, "1986, daddy's 47, set, hut-hut....Wayne Gallman is going to run over daddy!!" And he takes off and plows right into me, get's up and says, "Touchdown Clemson Tigers!!"

my son is 3 and he likes to do the same. doesnt quite know the players names yet but loves to play. only thing is, he gets so mad when i get on my knees to play, he wants me to stand up like the 'fooball pwayers' do it!

I had my 5 year old nephew this past weekend, his parents are Coots. Me and my wife keep him a lot and he loves Clemson. We have took him to 4 games so far and his room at home is a Clemson bedroom.
Anyway Saturday he wants to practice, he plays flag football. So I had him running timing routs with the ball on him as he turns.
He was snagging them balls with his hands and said I believe I'm starting to look like Sammy.
He is a good kid and on his way to being a Clemson man.

just graduated from Clemson this year. Man it seems like yesterday when I would pull in the driveway and see both of my kids looking out the window waiting for me to get home just so we could play.
Sometimes I would work from home and my kids could not understand why I did not get off at 2:30 when they got out of school. I still get a great sense of joy when look back at those times. Enjoy each day with your kids because they grow up fast.
Great stories fans. I pray for you and your families that you will have many great years to create memories for a lifetime.

And 3 daughters!!! I cherish those times he wants to Tackle. He is not big into sports but he pulls for the Tigers bc I do. Now excuse me while I go back to work so I can pay for the 3 weddings one day!!
