I have about 5 or 6 recorded episodes that I haven't gotten to yet. the show is DEAD. no pun intended. They also RUINED FTWD this year as well. They should have not killed carl or Abraham. Their forced deaths are really ruining the show.

those shows were very popular and captured the "spirit" or the "mood" of the times (i.e. very popular within pop culture) and then they seemed to disappear completely.

It's one of those "fun" words to say like schadenfreude (another German word, oddly enough).
Why do you not think the word fits? It fits perfectly.
