SRS question is SRS, but expectations and replies are jungey.
someone mentioned it below in the drew vs free speech thread....
work-gym has yoga once a week, and I've put up w/ months of peer pressure to go (it's prob 70/30 woman to men)....I've yet to cave to this pressure, but any dude I've ever talked to that reluctantly tried it ended up loving it...
juss wonderin'

tell that to our conditioning staff and our entire O and Dline.
and yes, it does wonders for stress, especially if you sit in front of a computer 12 hours a day.

You just don't want to admit it. Those guys also have other dudes stretching them with hands in all places, but that is OK in that environment.
You know what works to alleviate stress for most normal guys? Pot, beer, guns, trucks, cars and boats.
It does not surprise me that you do yoga though.

[ in reply to I definitely would not argue with that ] |

And they usually don't stop at talking about doing yoga, they have to tell you about doing "hot yoga" or some other unpronounceable form of it. It's like they really have to make sure the world knows how metro- sophisticated they really are.

But I knew a chick in college that did it and it worked pretty well for her, ifyouknowwhatimean.
I guess that was before her body started to devolve.

Actually both my doctors recommended it
Jun 3, 2015, 4:18 PM
|
|
Normal Doctor: I've got high blood pressure, mostly inherited, and my doctor recommended yoga as a low impact way of helping lower it. Wife has been in school for 12 years, and I intend to enjoy not being a poor once she finally finishes. I can't keel over in another 20 years and let one of you smooth talkers in the jounge move in on my sugar momma.
Orthopedic: Last time I went he showed me x-rays of my knee and said, "you see this, this is a bone spur, you have at least 12 of them in your left knee and 5 in your right knee. You're on your way to knee replacement in your 40's/50's if you don't chill out". He recommended yoga and swimming. He also said that I would probably stop popping my IT band and pulling muscles.

Then I saw what DDP yoga did for Scott Hall and Jake the Snake. It's pretty amazing, both of those guys should be dead 100x's over, but Scott Hall actually looks like a functioning human now.
