SEC Toughest Conference From Top to Bottom
Oct 26, 2012, 12:43 PM
|
|
Just noticed the SEC has 6 teams with a losing overall record. They have 4 teams without a conference win, and 1 team with only 1 conference win. How can anybody fall for this garbage?

Excellent teams Alabama
Good teams USC LSU UF
Frauds UGA (may be good, but not sold on them) MSU (they'll lose at least 3, but they are not top 10 material)
BAD teams the rest

The SEC claims TAMU as their own but says that the Big 12's Mizzou hasn't adjusted to the SEC speed yet. They can't have it both ways.

SCAR falls into that FRAUD category. How in the H****can you be sold on them???They have nothing to stand on...and dont say they beat Ga cause you called them a fraud too.

USC is a solid team like it or not......

their defense is for real
offense could use work, but they don't always need it
so.........
#1 unless they lose to UT and/or arky i can't say they are a fraud
#2 until we stop letting them kick our teeth in i can't say they are a fraud
i will say they are a TOTALLy different team on the road.
hopefully we'll get them this year, but until we do I'm not gonna say they don't deserve the credit they've been given

bama has played nobody, but they ARE a good team MSU has played nobody and I don't think they are THAT good Clemson has beaten nobody, but i think they are good (could improve) USC has beaten a likely fraud in UGA, but I think they are a solid team still

Georgia could possibly beat us. SC is probably still better than Clemson, but we have a chance at home.

i agree, however if we had UGA at home this year......

i think we'd win
bottomline if comparing USC and Clemson's schedule
Clemson would have the same record USC has playing USC's schedule so far
USC would have the same record Clemson has playing Clemson's schedule so far.
I do think right now USC has the edge against us, but like you said with it being at home we have a shot

I don't buy into the top-to-bottom thing

Every conference has its bottom-feeders and usually they're the same teams. Yeah, Auburn is down, but the fact of the matter is that the SEC has three legit title contenders in Bama, LSU, and UF. They have good teams in Texas A&M, Scar, and Georgia (I think). I think they do have legitimately six Top 20 teams. That's pretty good.

Name another conference that has 3 teams that tough.
The SEC is the best football conference. That doesn't mean the chickens have any bragging rights. But the truth is just the truth.

won't look as great after FSU beats UF

LSU will finish with at least two losses, and Florida may as well. The ACC could actually have more one less teams than the SEC at the end of the year.

point that I just made. The ACC's best beats the SEC's 2nd or 3rd best.... so what.
FSU plays all three of those, they go 1-2 at the most.

nobody denies that the SEC is a good conference, but it's not the ALL world that people make it out to be.
I would argue the Big12 is the toughest top to bottom and I don't think any SEC team would go throw it undefeated
as far as the ACC goes........they do suck there's no arguing about the ACC, but a bad schedule doesn't always equate to a bad team

Saban knows they couldnt...thats why he whined about spread offenses...why do you think the powers that be didnt let OK St have a shot last year???Cause they wouldve beat Bama or LSU. They certainly had a better record to stand on. Look it up. How many top teams did they beat and how many did Bama beat last year?? same ol garbage...

the game is at FSU. FSU plays about 14-21 points better at home the would beat LSU at FSU and I am not sure they wouldn't beat BAMA in Tally. FSU shut UF out last year in the swamp and they will kill them this year, UF is a running team and FSU Dline will keep them in check.

Has USC, Oregon, and Oregon St. Arizona is on the rise and cal and ucla are underachieving. I don't think Bama would go 3-0 vs them, maybe 1-2. Who'd want to get Oregon with one week to prepare?

but would beat the other 3. USC would give them a game, maybe, but after watching Stanford hit them in the mouth....they couldn't handle Bama.
