Was when the ole ball sack didnt get the first down.It was pertty clearly a first down,I thought the old man was going to have a stroke.

Yes it was hilarious!! I don't believe he threw the visor did he?
Those refs had better learn quickly that they are on candid camera!
When I looked closely at the refs back pocket I thought I saw a $100 bill sticking out! :)

was a 1st down. Those who say it has to be at the sticks are using the high school system. Under that it would be short. An extensive web search give no clear set answer but those who will commit have it as the nose of the ball has to be past the last link of the chain for a 1st in college and the pros. The swivel doesn't count. It doesn't have to be touching the sticks. Saw a game several years ago where the same same happened and the annoucers explained that it wasn't the sticks. But they had closer pictures and there was no doubt.
