a simple clean up.
if there's no 'new' injury to the joint, tendon, ligament, cart or muscle and you have scar tissue that can continue to form, not a bad idea to get it out of the way.
walter payton had both knees scoped late in his career to simple 'clean' them up; if i remember, he called it his 10,000 yard tune up.

It looks like it only happened for Internet Explorer users. If it happened to you, please tmail me what version you were using. I moved the ad under the story. Please tmail me if it happens again, but was probably just a fluke.

So he has pre-scheduled surgery and they schedule it for

three days before the Spring game after he has practiced the entire Spring. They couldn't schedule it for Monday? It makes you wonder. Kind of like when they keep saying an injury is minor, then later you hear how bad it really was and how much it hindered their play. Like Ellington's injury last year and Watkins shoulder etc..

It is what it is! And it doesn't matter one I O Da how much more or less fans or others want to add or take away from the situation, it is still what it is. He will be back to do the job that our Tigers need for him to do. Hopefully, this tune up will go a long way in helping him to remain more durable than he has been. As we all know, RBs take a beating. Every body that's trying to take them down, out weighs them 50 to 150 pounds. Tuff job, but somebody has to do it.

According to the release it is cleanup for a surgery he already had. Why they scheduled it before the spring game is weird but until something further comes to light just hope this is all there is. Also, the staff already knows what AE can do and he doesnt need to get hurt playing in a meaningless game Sat. Also wouldnt expect to see too much hitting on Sammy and Nuke either. Keep in mind the spring game is a glorified scrimmage and the coaches have certain things they are looking to do during that game. Seeing a bunch of proven vets out there doing there thing is something the coaches probably arent too interested in going into the summer. They want to see what the younger ones can do.

otherwise they'd have put this off till after the Spring Game. Especially after David Hood's article about him being "100%" last week....

This happens all the time. Look at the pro's they wait until training begins all the time.
It's just the spring game they said he'd be ready for summer workouts

Andre is perhaps the most pure runner I have seen @ Clemson since Kenny Flowers. I hope he recovers and sets the world on fire. Go Berkeley County Boy! Go! Just my opinion.
