First post concerning 2012 season for me....

And for what it's worth here goes. Personally I feel like our success lies on our defense. If we can avoid major injuries to key personnel, we should be able to score enough points to put us in position to win most if not all, games on our schedule. But if we don't play much better on defense than last year, we are in trouble. It will be interesting to see if Venerables can turn it around on defense. If he can, I think we have a chance to be very good this season.

I have to agree with you to a point,but if our inexperienced "O" line can't open holes,or give Boyd time,you won't get many opportunities to score a lot of points.

for all it's worth.

I think we'll be better on both sides of the ball this year. I know we lost some pretty good linemen but we have some real talent taking their places.
