Brownell record pathetic, apathetic fans, been going downhill.
Jack if anything, still has an overall very good track record.

In all fairness,I think you have to give Brownell two more seasons, next season playing in Greenville, then a full season playing in the newly renovated Littlejohn. I mean, why else would you renovate Littlejohn if it were not an attempt at recruiting better talent? If that is the case then in all fairness you have to give Brad at least one full season in the new venue. If not the case, then you might as well go ahead and fire him now, along with Jack, and maybe even Larry Penley. And Jack's overall track record is a thing of the past. You have only to look at the last 5 seasons to see the decline in the program.

There are good reasons to think we'd be better off with a new coach in baseball, there's no good reasons to think firing Brownell could be a positive for us. You think any coach we bring in will magically turn our program around? Brownell is a good coach and hasn't been given a fair chance. Jack is also a good coach but has already had his chance and it's time for him to go. You are probably one of the apathetic fans, if you even go to the basketball games

BB just brought in 2 stellar transfers that will make a big impact in 2016. I like this year's team too with Holmes and Hudson and the growing young talent.

For the last five years, JL has run this program into the ground. Jack had a successful career but it's taken a downturn . He should be offered the graceful way out but made clear that he is gone no matter what. As for Brownell, his job performance has been average. He's getting a new arena worth 62 million . There is no excuse for failure . He will get a pass for being in Greenville next year . He better be in the Big Dance the first year in the new arena or face what Leggett is facing now.

Brownell probably should get a few more years but I really don't think he will be much better.

Our basketball team plays with incredibly solid fundamentals and scheme....we just are not overly talented.....yet.
Baseball team costantly beats itself due to poor fundamentals and bad decisions from head man (sending I'll advised base runners and situational blunders).
Big difference in levels of coaching between baseball and basketball....

we want to settle for being competitive and maybe making the dance once every 4 or 5 years, which is exactly what he said we can expect.

That's giving up. We don't need a coach who won't try to get the best players or sets such low goals for a program.

Our recruiting has improved the past several years and he never said that.
Skeeter3 is talking out of his ### again. Typical behavior for the kinda guy who has multiple screen names.

He said that Clemson would never be able to recruit and compete with the top teams in the ACC on a consistent basis and that we would have to rely on a solid senior class every few years to make a run.
Sorry but I do not agree with that business model.

Clemson has always relied on upperclassmen in basketball. That is a fact. Sorry you don't know that and continue to show ignorance about the history and condition of our program.
So what are your other screen names?

also link to those comments?
I am sure you are taking them completely out of context and putting your own BS spin into it like you also tried to do with the Prowl and Growl comments.
Basically you are a pathetic sad little person evidence of that is found in the way you twist words and the fact that you have multiple screen names.

firing them, The main reason the coots beat us 5 is the drop in recruiting from going all year with no named coach

I'm going to climb out on a limb and say we make the dance next year .This is because of the youth on the team returning from last year ,the new talent coming in . It is also a little contrarian view because it seems like the expectations on here are not very high for next year and this team will be highly motivated to prove everyone wrong .

frontcourt this year, and with developing talent in Grantham, DeVoe and Ajukwa, I would expect a better record this coming season than last. Playing in Greenville will probably be a boon. Big games will be packed regardless but a lot of the others will have a much larger pool of people having opportunities to get out and enjoy the show. I think these players are going to enjoy playing there.

Brownell's buyout is too high
May 31, 2015, 4:15 PM

He will be here for at least two more years. Jack's buyout is literally 1/20 of BB's right now as Jack has one more year on his contract.
