Fear the Thumb. Facts

Jul 23, 2018, 11:05 AM

Thats right folks! Kentucky has beaten South Carolina University 4 years in a row, and will be going for #5 on September 29th at home in Lexington.

The Streak dates back to Mark Stoops' fist year at UK in 2014. Stoops is 4-0 against against USuC.

The 4 Victories account for exactly 1/3 of Stoops' 12 SEC Wins at Kentucky.

Kentucky has wins over 4 additional SEC programs under Stoops: Vanderbilt, Missouri, Miss State, Tennessee.

Kentucky's 26-22 victory in Columbia in 2015 snapped a 22 game road losing streak that stretched over 5 years. It was the Cats' first win in a true road game since Sept 4, 2010

The last time the Wildcats beat an SEC team four years in a row was 2004-07 when they did it to Vanderbilt. The time before that Bear Bryant was Kentucky’s coach

The Streak has been characterized by SCAR's inexplicable inability to stop Kentucky's Wildcat formation, as well as typical USuC shenanigans providing Kentucky with extra motivation- such as refusing to shake hands during the Coin Toss one year, and Jake Bentley's comically poor attempts at "flopping".

Fear the three thumbs. UK, Texas a&m, and Clemson are all going for their 5th win in a row against the ##### this year.

Watching UK run the Wildcat right up the middle on USUC has been extremely funny to watch the past 2-3 years. You know UK is going to call that play over and over, yet USUC is incapable of stopping it. It is somewhat uncanny to watch USUC fail over and over, so you have to watch it to believe it. I'm going to enjoy UK get their 5th win over USUC. Fire up the grill. :)
