I whole heartedly agree! Stout has to be the worst qb in this conference! Woffords and Furman's qbs have better ratings! Stout has set a record this year though so give him credit: he is the only qb in the conference to throw an interception in every appearance this year! I doubt 2 weeks and a new qb coach can fix arm strength and accuracy and pocket awareness people! I love my tigers but im sad to say this game will be ruff for some to watch and accept! Coaches converge and blitz stout bc they know hes a sitting duck unlike Watson! That part of the problem! Stout made Georgia states 127th ranked defense look good! I can only imagine what will happen against a quality opponent like Oklahoma! as the little giants say: "Help us God!"

They've lost two weeks on his recovery.

Likely waiting to see what bowl was going to be offered to Clemson. If GT had bombed vs Fl State and dropped behind us for us to get the Orange Bowl, he may have delayed it and played him. Or if it was Citrus vs a ranked Missouri (who competed in the SEC Championship), he may have also been on the fence about.

Most likely wanted til his exams are over. Doubtful they'd want him missing class and on pain killers during exams.

what does that have to do with swelling going down

his statement is accurate; you don't do ACL surgeries immediately following the injury; I imagine they were waiting for exams to be done also though

Probably wouldn't have mattered. I don't know that they could have kept it a secret that long.

I'm not knocking you or anything but I just don't understand this argument. I would completely agree if, for example, we had watson and maybe a pretty good pocket QB, since it would require them to prepare for two completely different types of QB. But in this case, if you are prepared for Watson, you are definitely prepared for Stoudt.
I just don't think the QB will affect how they prepare that much because Stoudt doesn't really scare you in an department.

Probably waited til his exams were completed. From what I've heard from several friends who have had ACL surgery, first 6-10 days are brutal pain wise, depending on how invasive the surgery is. I hope that the Tigers win against Oklahoma, but with Stoudt starting, past performances indicate other wise. He got 3 wins, but look at the opponents. I don't understand the Staff's reasoning on Stoudt starting, but I guess "we shall see ". Nick needs this start to get playing time for spring ball. If not, going to be an interesting spring practice with no experienced QB to attempt to run the Offense. GO TIGERS!!!

So Dabo lies when it serves his purposes? Shocker. NOT!

As many people predicted, it seems that Dabo lied about Watson playing in order to land a better bowl game. Either that or there was a massive coincidence that Watson's status changed shortly after the bowl selection.
It makes you wonder what else he lies about. Was there really no risk to Watson's knee in playing Watson vs. SCAR, or did Dabo lie and risk Watson's health in order to get the SCAR-monkey off Dabo's back? Did Stoudt really give us the best chance to win, or was it just a loyalty payback thing that Dabo wanted? You just never know if Dabo is telling the truth.
