How does eligibility work?

Do players that arrive on campus before the 2019-20 season still have 4 years eligibility left?

so she'll graduate in May and come to Clemson in August.
She'll "redshirt" in 2019 (the others too), and play as a redshirt freshman in Feb. 2020 when the program starts play.

No different than a football player that redshirts his first year.

We all know that T Boyd is a special young man and this adds further evidence that Clemson is a better place with he and players like him representing the university... On and off the field. No wonder kids want to play sports and be a part of my university. Who wouldn't?
