Aside from Pete Carroll, they don't have a track record of good football head coaching hires over the last 20 years. I think Orgeron would be a good hire for them, and he's already proven that he can win at their program. It will be interesting to see who they ultimately hire. My prediction is that it will be a stupid one that won't workout well.

He should have gotten it. Just the fact that the players believed in him enough to turn what was gonna be a disastrous season into a respectable one.

Now they're making the same mistake they made with Kiffin all over again. Going with the better X's and O's guy than a guy that their players actually want to play for.
