Sean Combs, more commonly known as Diddy, hopes to buy the Carolina Panthers in the wake of Jerry Richardson's sexual harassment scandal, the hip-hop mogul and businessman announced Sunday.
"I would like to buy the @Panthers. Spread the word. Retweet!" Diddy wrote on Twitter.
Diddy also said he would immediately sign controversial former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and give him a chance to compete with Cam Newton for the starting job.
“I will immediately address the Colin Kaepernick situation and put him in the running for next year’s starting quarterback," Diddy said in a video posted to Instagram. "It’s just competition, baby. It’s just competition"

right now, but they're remaining private due to Richardson's statement about not doing anything until the season is over. Talks briefly stalled because Diddy's insistence that new uniforms will have to incorporate the use of fur coats and Richardson didn't like that direction. They also had a good bit of disagreement over Diddy proposing that the team name be changed once every 5-6 years. If he were to become owner, the team name would become 'Panther' almost immediately.

can't get a job in the NFL, he's being blackballed. NEWSFLASH mothrachuckers, he had a job in the NFL and OPTED TO QUIT! He had a year left on his 49ers contract and opted out because he was terrible the previous season and probably wasn't going to be the starter.
Now if I quit my job without having another one already in place, is that everyone else's fault for not hiring me?
