For those of you that remember the tough running back DON TESTERMAN......He passed away this week....
May he be in Tiger heaven !!!

Yes indeed, I remember him well, but didn't know of his passing.

very good player. pretty big for a RB in his era. he could almost always be found in the old "red carpet (now tiger town tavern) playing the pinball machine

I remember Don! He was a tall, muscular running back with blond curly hair and wore glasses. One thing I distinctly remember about him was that he had a battleship tattooed across his chest. I think he played for the Seattle Seahawks as a running back for a while. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger! May he rest in Peace!

I remember his long TD against Tennessee in Knoxville, broke an off tackle run. Ran towards the Clemson section. Someone knocked me down in the stands when he crossed the 20 heading into the end zone.

Friend of the family here and glad to see Clemson fans remembering one of their own. Truly shows your a Tiger for life. I remember a story his son shared with me about a sponsorship he had with a Chevy dealership in Seattle where he would eat random things like coins and bolts. Long live his memory. Go Tigers!

He played 1974 & 1975 at Clemson..
