Do you think Georgia can beat Bama?....

I know it's not talked about much outside of Upstate SC, but absent those 2 horrible turnovers the other night, Clemson was going toe-to-toe with Bama. You were down 10-6 and driving when the bottom dropped out and all of the sudden, it's 24-6 and the game is over. I'm not saying that Bama wasn't better. They were. But the difference between Bama and Clemson isn't as much as that final score indicated. What gets lost on people is that Clemson's defense played well enough to win.

I think if Georgia avoids the turnovers, then this game is almost a pick'em because both of these teams play very good defense.

I think UGA's d is over rated.

Saban and co will put a lot of stress on them, spreading them out and running the QB. Their QB is a heck of a load running the ball. I think that will be the difference in the game.

Better OL, better RB’s, better QB, better TE, better kicker than us. Fromm will have to make some plays but his PSR is very good and he is very accurate

Bama will have more success on offense as UGA’s defense is not elite (very good though) like ours.

I suspect Bama will win but I would not be surprised to see UGA take it. Lots of seniors and they have that “destiny” mantra this year.

Honestly? Not really.

IMO our defense or OU's offense were the only ones with a shot at stopping Bama. UGA is build too much like Bama buy doesn't have players near as good. It wouldn't surprise me if UGA doesn't score.


I agree with your assessment that Clemson's performance was better than the score indicated though. Hell just a better punter would have helped.

Will Georgia beat Bama?
Just my opinion, but no!
Why do I think this way?
Somehow, someway, Bama wins a close one, therefore justifying
the committee's decision to include them in the playoff's, and
saying;"See we told you all along Bama was the"BEST "team in the country.
