gained weight is beyond me. She had a child and that's understandable. Besides, she is still extremely pretty and talented. She did a great job with the anthem.

Here's a hint:
Saying "she may have gained a little weight" is probably not best abbreviated by calling her a "little hoggy"

anyone looks thicker sitting than they do standing. Second, she is a fit woman, who definitely - post baby or not - shouldn't be described as hoggy.
"Did Alicia Keys look like she had gained a little weight?" would have been a much nicer way of saying it. that's all.
