Isn't this kinda what it comes down to?
Assuming Boyd comes back....
Boyd QB's Fall 2013
Kelly is the starter as a RS - Soph in Fall 2014
(( Watson enrolls Jan 2014 as a mid-year enrollee ))
If Watson RS, it will be:
Fall 2015--- Kelly RS - JR, Watson RS- Fr
Fall 2016--- Kelly RS- SR, Watson RS- So
Fall 2017--- Watson RS- Jr as the starter
And that's assuming he RS, which most mid-year enrollees DONT do
Sorry, but just don't see this happening
Watson may be the # 1 overall recruit for 2014, aint NO WAY he sits until 2017
Folks this is the argument every program in America, and in particular UGA and Oh St. are going to be using.

competition is good, but both these kids are highly touted, only one is gonna play...
it's a tough spot to be in
just worried urban is gonna sweep him up bc of this argument

To be honest with you, someone is going to sweep him up. I watched a little film on Watson and there is no doubt, this kid is the truth. On the flip side of that, it is going to be VERY hard to make his committment stick. We can hope that the fact that Clemson was on him since his freshmen year weighs anything at all. If not, well then we would be having this convo in vein, for Kelly will be playing.

To Watson was he was going to be the only Qb in our class. Dabo will play the best QB for our system and considering that neither have seen the field its an open competition.

few years. Both qb's will have a chance here to make a good name for themselves. Every bigtime school has a solid backup and in many cases, they both end up getting their chance to shine. I dont see this as an issue
