Dangerous Lies on Netflix

Saw this as #2 on Netflix yesterday. It seemed like an appropriate mindless Sunday morning watch. But good god man, in addition to having the most generic title ever, the writing is awful and it's so predictable and hokey.

It could have redeemed itself with a nice shot of Camila Mendes' exposed bosom, but they couldn't even give us that.

Avoid this movie.

I'm not really sure why. It was English dubbed over...something, and the plot holes you could drive a truck through. Interesting premise though.

Basically, these people get on a plane and have to keep flying where it is dark because the sun has flipped its polarity and is nuking everyone when the sun comes up.

dubbing is so bad. It's not the characters mouths being out of sync with the audio that bothers me. It's that I watch with subtitles, and almost every subtitle is just a loose interpretation of what is being dubbed in English. Drives me crazy.

Mrs. Tig queued it up this weekend. I did appropriately berate every aspect of it as the movie played. It is indeed a horribly trite and ill-conceived production.
