DID YOU KNOW?

About half of your body is bacteria.

Octopuses have copper-based blood instead of iron-based blood which is why their blood is blue rather than red.

Hugs that last over 20 seconds releases chemicals in your body called "oxytocin" that makes you trust someone more.

The worlds quietest room is minus 9 decibels, quiet enough to hear your blood flowing.

If the human eye was a digital camera, it would have 576 megapixels.

Crocodiles have no lips and can hold their breath for an hour.

An octopus actually has six arms and two legs, not eight legs.

A Tiger's tongue is so rough, it can lick the paint off buildings and strip the skin from the bones of an animal.

An elephant can smell water from three miles away.

The NSF estimated that our brains produce as many as 12,000 to 50,000 thoughts per day depending on how deep a thinker you are.

Human thigh bones are stronger than concrete.

You can survive entirely on a diet of potatoes and butter, which provide all the necessary nutrients the human body needs.

If humans killed each other at the same rate that we kill animals, we'd be extinct in 17 days.

Without your pinky finger your hand would lose fifty percent of it's strength.

Giraffes spend about 70 percent of their day eating.

Most of the dust under your bed is your own dead skin.

Cows have best friends and get stressed when they are separated.

Talking to yourself is a good way to help maintain your focus while completing a task.

Beer reduces the risk of developing kidney stones by forty percent.

A cockroach can live several weeks with its head cut off.

When two people kiss they exchange between 10 million to one billion bacteria.

A Tiger's legs are so powerful they can remain standing even when dead. Tigers when shot sometimes bleed out and die while standing still.

They held it's water from them for a couple of days, when he/she got within 3 miles of the water, he/she ran over all of them going to get to the water that they had smelled!!!

I started getting them at about age 20, and I passed #56 about 4 months ago. I usually have 1 and have at times 2 a year. Only had to have 2 removed bc they were to big to pass through!!!

thanks, joe and the reason you lose 50 percent of your strength is that the last three digits in your hand are used to grasp objects while your thumb and 2 digit are used to rotate and manipulate objects. Enjoyed the stuff about Tigers we Need to Keep our mascot safe from extinction. Go Tigers
