I understand how the team and track work together but cross country also functions well alone and is a minimal financial commitment

Clemson’s “Bubba” attitude towards the smaller sports is an embarrassment and it has been for a very long time. The problem is, when you’re a “Bubba”, you’re too ignorant to be embarrassed about your ignorant embarrassing behavior.
Clemson is like a dog sitting in the middle of your living room cleaning itself. The dog gets a pass, it’s a dog. Clemson does not get a pass, it’s NOT a dog. Proud ignorance is not a reason, it’s just an embarrassing excuse.
