1988 in Charlottesville: (11)Clemson- 10 Virginia- 7. Rodney Williams' 14-Yard TD to Chip Davis with 01:52 sealed a 10-7 Victory, running the all-time record vs UVA to 28-0

1992 in Charlottesville: Clemson- 29 (10)Virginia- 28 "The Comeback". After No. 11 UVa stormed out to a 28-0 lead in the 1st Half, Louis Solomon and Rodney Blunt led the Tigers on a furious 2nd Half Comeback, capped by a Nelson Welch game winning FG.

1993 in Death Valley: Clemson- 23 (17)Virginia- 14. Redshirt Freshman Cornerback Quaterback Dexter McCleon hit Terry Smith with a 73-yard touchdown and scored on a 29-yard run Saturday to lead Clemson to an improbable 23-14 upset win over 17th-ranked Virginia, in one of the only instances in CFB history where a Cornerback started at Quaterback and defeated a ranked team. The loss prolonged the Cavs win-less streak at Death Valley

I was at the 84 game. We were in the Oklahoma conversation that year.....to be the second team after OK to win a National Title without going to a bowl game (probation)

We just dominated UVA that day. My dad yelled go Tigers as we left the game and a UVA fan (woman) harshly responded "I'm not impressed"

Dad said "Well Lady it was 55 to nothin'....what does it take to impress you"

I loved it!

Clemson trailed the entire game until Jimmy Addison (The Needle) hit Jackie Jackson for a 75-yard TD inside 2 minutes to play to give the Tigers a 40-35 win and preserve the "White Meat Streak."

Ah, precious memories.

Yes and we were behind like 28-0 or something at halftime. Go Tigers!

I'll bet Coach Howard really gave it to them at the half
