Cj Fuller

Jan 20, 2016, 5:08 PM

So his recruit profile had him as a rb/Cb and he's a phenomenal talent, that being said I don't think he'd crack the 2deep at rb while here. Now is there any chance to get him to become a Cb. Clemson has had success in the past doing this. Justin Miller and tye hill come to mind.

Can you elaborate on why you don't think that'd be a good switch?

I'm not sure how good he was in HS at db tbh. Did you watch him play db?

Really I honestly thought the depth chart was locked up. I figure the tigers take 1 or 2 rbs next year.

2017 Feaster, Choice
2018 Feaster, Choice

I guess you are right though Coach Elliot raved about fuller.

Fuller was ahead of dye this year. For most of the season, he was our 3rd rb.

So I would say the rb rotation next year would be gallman, fuller, feaster. That could change obviously if feaster balls out, but I think that's how they start the year.

Too Big to play db now. Good player, but does have a lot of talent in front of him.

I watched him play in HS almost every game. He was being recruited as a DB in 10 th grade long before he was toting the rock on a regular basis for the Greenwave. I believe he was a 4A all region db in the 10th grade so yeah I am sure he could do it. I seriously doubt he will he wants to be a RB that is why he came to Clemson.

I think Miller was a CB out of Kentucky from the get-go , but I may be mistaken .
Tye Hill was a RB , and Robert Smith was a QB ...believe they were both from Woodlands HS as well .
It is always a possibility when you have a surplus at any position that translates well to another position , obviously it also depends much on the athlete .

He would have a tough time beating out Gallman,Feaster, and Choice.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He is and always was a RB. Also, I don't expect Kelly Bryant

to move to WR, or Ray Ray McCloud to be a RB, or Deon Cain to play QB, or any of the other position switches folks dream up or somehow get in their heads.
