Have never seen those before. Maybe to keep them from completely rusting out you should open and drain from the bottom. Will still make great shelf sitters.

I made them , and still have the cease and desist letter from Clemson , when we tried to license the label

Sorry to here your Dad passed away. That can is actually one of the first release of the label . My wife and I created those labels and the content. We had a blast doing it. The way to tell it is original is that it does not have a starburst on the front left saying "Special SEC doormat offer" . We reprinted the labels when SC joined the SEC
