the first clemson player that ever made me stop for a "wow"
Feb 8, 2016, 12:12 PM

was william perry.
cj spiller probably place holds most of those "moments" for me, but i don't know that i have a favorite tiger.
i mean, i enjoyed watching a walk-on, 250lb center[tommy sharpe] absolutely dominate an all-sec ng for an entire game. there are so many of those for me...

It is really hard to pick just one out of all the greats but to me I just loved watching Vic destroy anything and everything in his path.

the conversation between he and dabo when coach asked vic to give him one year at DE must be something for both to look back on?

Yea I mean when everyone gets all worried about dabo and company taking in someone that's not a high rated prospect I like to sit back and watch the fireworks. Cause when that prospect turns out to be amazing the same people getting worried are the first praise him lol.

I think he ended up playing for the 49ers, but I forgot who it was. Anyway, him + Kirkland were beasts.

Hard not to say CJ...

What he did while at Clemson, and the way he represents Clemson professionally is really impressive.
Still, it's hard to pick just one. I really like Terry Allen too. Levon Kirkland, Michael Dean Perry, Jeff Bostic, Sammy Watkins, Andre Ellington, DW4, the list can go on and on...

Terrence Flagler!
Feb 8, 2016, 11:19 PM
|
|
Finished his Clemson career with 2,162 yards rushing (12th on school's all-time list) on 379 carries for 5.7 average and 17 touchdowns. Never a full-time starter until his senior year when he rushed for 1,258 yards and 10 TDs on 192 carries, leading Clemson to ACC championship. Named first-team All-American by Football Writers Association and was runner-up in ACC Player of the Year voting. Still holds Clemson record for all-purpose running with 274 yards against Wake Forest and for yards per game with 106.9 yards in '86 season. Had six 100-yard rushing games, including 210 yards in 31-17 win at Virginia and 209 yards in 28-20 win at Wake Forest.

Definitely one of my favorites and for some reason always seems to have flown under the radar with many fans. You look at that run of Backs we had there with him Flowers ( I know, I know but dude could play) Terry Allen. Was a line of them for a while.
