Ideas for lodging for a group of Marines this fall

Jun 14, 2014, 2:15 PM

I'm bringing a group of my Marines to Clemson for a game this fall, as well as [and mainly for] a tour of the university and to get some information about admissions/scholarships/etc since a large majority of them plan to attend college in the future. There will be about 10-12 of us.

We have a great option for travel to Clemson from the Air Station here in Cherry Point, NC, but we are looking for a place to stay. It will only be for 3 nights, and Marines are used to sleeping in slightly less than horrible conditions.

Besides cramming into two hotel rooms (which would equate to about $600), do you all have any ideas for cheap and convenient lodging while we are in town? The main obstacle so far has been showers.

Let me know what you all think!

Thanks,
M1C

I have home on Lake Keowee. My home may not be big enough but it may require 2 Houses. My property number is 196877. If it works for you, I can work something for you.
