My favorite is in the comments where he says "struggled to stop South Carolina's run game 2 out of the last 3 years". Uh sorry bud, but in those two years you're talking about SC ran for 274 yards on 95 carries. That's an average of 2.88 yards per carry.

This is a textbook example of the fact that they allow anyone with a computer to write an article for bleacher report.

Right. Venables is not the guy for the TAMU job. They should not interview nor offer him a position.

But I can understand their angst and desire to make a good hire. Lately, their hires have been way off base. For example, the head guy out there, Kevin Sumlin won 11 his first year, 9 his second year and 7 his third year. A constant downward trend suggests trouble. And the aggies have scored fewer points each year too.

Yep they need help hiring at TAMU.

"Aggies have had defensive problems lately..."

I don't remember them having a defense that could stop a running game since the moved to the SEC. They outran every team they beat.
