Women are no more fundamentally worse or better than men. I'm not defending any pride parades or condemning any. I'm just not proclaiming one better than the other because women are involved or not.

Both parades are jokes. I saw a 'Gay Day in Rhea,' parade back a decade or so ago. I, like almost everyone else thought it was good entertainment for a southern county which is basically bored.

portends anything close to “fear” of straight pride? Every bit of it is about the absurdity and pointlessness of “straight pride”. Gay pride stems from oppression. Heterosexuals have never been oppressed. This isn’t difficult.

It is interesting that the josephg original post only pointed out a difference between the 2 pride parades.
In no way did he suggest that one 'pride' is better than the other.
