Some of the media, SEC fans, etc...and general Clemson haters are pushing that narrative but that's all it is, a narrative.

Clemson has never been in danger of not making the CFP if we win out.

As opposed to worrying about the next asteroid that's going to wipe out all life on planet earth?

There's probably a better chance of that happening in your lifetime than there is of an undefeated Clemson getting left out a 4-team CFP.

Otherwise we may actually be left out if undefeated.

They don’t care about last year. They have made that clear over and over again. This team is not a defending champ. It’s a new team.

There are not 4 teams that would go ahead of us if we’re undefeated. We may end up 4th out of those 4 but undefeated Clemson is in because of lack of other possible teams.

Somehow the narrative switched from “can they make it with 1 loss” which seemed liked a conversation worth having to “can they make it undefeated” which is not a conversation worth having . We are in undefeated.
