Coot #1: I thought Dabo had a policy on recruits visiting after committing to the Tigers. I guess that doesn’t include 5* players.

Coot #2: Well, you’ll need some 5* players to stay in contention in the cupcake conference, especially with the likes of Duke.
Me: You do know that the Gamecocks have a losing record against Duke?
Coots 1 and 2, in unison: No way!
Me: Yes Way. And you do know what your record is while playing in the ACC, don’t you. (Blank look on their faces)
Coot #2. There you go with history again, we haven’t been in the ACC in years. Where have you been getting your information, from Tigernet?
Me: No, straight from the Gamecock website. Since joining the ACC;
• You won your FIRST bowl game after playing football for almost 100 years.
• You played seventeen years in the ACC with only one ACC title;
• Playing ACC teams, you have a record of 56 wins and 234 losses (about a 20% winning percentage).
• You then left the ACC (it would appear the American Cupcake Conference was too much for you).
• You then played 20 years as an Independent (that means nobody wanted you).
• You then jumped on the SEC bandwagon (where you could make more money while losing).
• You’ve been in the SEC for 22 years now, without winning a single conference championship.
• Your won/loss record against SEC teams during this time is 82 wins to 164 losses, about a 33% winning percentage.
