At this point, Ohio St. and LSU can afford a loss and stay where they are in my ratings. Clemson could possibly drop with a loss, but they aren't going to lose. So it's about the #4 spot, and it's looking more like Notre Dame of all teams will finish there, barring a SEC championship by Georgia. With 2 losses, they are definitely not in the playoff hunt in real life, but their overall performance is better than you have probably though of in a while. Their losses are to top 10 teams (Georgia and Michigan), and they have a collection of good wins like only the teams at the very top of the ratings have: USC, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Navy, all with 8 wins, and Louisville, who has turned out to be decent. Compare with Utah, for example, who lost to USC, and don't have a win over any team with more than 7 wins (BYU is 7-4).
