mileage is limited in them and they tend to run narrow, much like a Nike. I think they are a great race day shoe, but not training or all the time shoe.

Generally would be used in the gym and not really for running races.

Have you tried on a pair of Adidas Boost? You dont really even have to go with the Ultra Boost, just the regular are great. They make great gym shoes and as versatile as any shoe made.

Equinox -
Jan 31, 2020, 12:02 PM

An equinox is commonly regarded as the instant of time when the plane (extended indefinitely in all directions) of Earth's equator passes through the center of the Sun.[3][4] This occurs twice each year, around 20 March and 23 September.

my bar tending boss gave me a wallet that her dad tossed

To her cleaning out a junk drawer.
She gave it to me not realizing that it was Ferragamo.
MSRP was $395 so I gave it back to her and told her she didn’t mean to give me a $400 wallet

I've heard good things, but not as a running shoe.

I'm really considering the New Balance 1080 v10 as a distance shoe (>10 miles) based on reviews. Sounds similar to my Nike Epic React Flyknits but with more cushion on the forefoot (where my foot begins to hurt over distance).

Serious question

Why do you need a different shoe for distance?

Based on experience.

I love my current shoes, but on long runs I feel some pain in the balls of my feet. So my options are either to look at another shoe or look at inserts that will add a bit more cushion on the forefoot. Either way I'll need to buy a new pair in the next few months.

first and last - I started having pain in my feets. I got fitted at a place in Buckhead and they hooked me up w/ the Newbie 1080s. No pain after that, and I still wear them for working out and running, albeit now I don't run farther than a 5k b/c i'm a lineman.
#### running...go squat 495 5 x 5 in Ferragamos w/ the black Nike crew socks and your Ivy tank top like a real brah

to try them on. My only local options are cheap shoes at Academy and all the fashion Nikes at Footlocker.
I'd have no hesitation to running another half in my current shoes, but if I'm going longer and another shoe will make that a bit more comfortable then I'm all about that.

Probably because you're turning 38 on Saturday...
And no, I don't.
I was being ironic (I guess that's the word) because, although RHTIG is much older than me, he is much cooler and current that me and pretty much anybody else on here besides the really younguns like Crulez and A912

It was in a reply yesterday or the day before that someone actually got offended and asked that.
If the search function worked, I’d find it.
I was really making fun of that post and not you.
Since RH is old enough to be my grandfather, I’m on board calling him boomer.

News that will shock no one in this joint,

I have 2 pairs. THey are amazingly comfortable for every general work outs/walking long distances.
I am not a runner, but I do have a rare form of arthritis that attacks my spine and feet and I find them to be more comfortable than Nike/NB/Asics.
The rich people I work with are obsessed with them because they don't have to tie their shoelaces, so there's that.
