McCann's fly out sends the tagging Freeman to third . . . With runners on the corners and two outs, Duval is up . . . He promptly doubles (scoring Freddie) . . .
Change in pitchers so I started this thread . . . Braves up 3-0
Inciarte up next . . . Good 9 pitch at bat . . . UNTIL he watched a called strike 3 . . . ??????

Not sure why he looked at that pitch. Right down broadway but maybe he was fooled by the pitch.

Hitters still GUESS at what the next pitch will be . . .
In that situation we were always taught to look for the fastball . . . That way you are geared for the fastest pitch coming . . . You could adjust to any off speed pitch which may come . . . It may not be a pretty swing, but at least you'd have time to put the bat on the ball.
If you look for an off speed pitch and the heat is thrown . . . You are cooked . . . Your hips aren't open enough . . . The bat and hands are so far behind, you can't even slap at the pitch
But what do I know? . . . I am old and this game has passed me and my generation by . . . but I still love it!!!

Threw that change up one too many times . . . Great to put it on the outside of the plate but he left it waist high . . . The #8 hitter didn't hesitate . . .

MfOjr. and I had a blast last night. Watched the replay and saw us on tv in the 8th inning!! Hate they lost but he saw Scuba Jr. hit a HR!! What a bomb!
